We have been exploring science versus pseudo-science, talking about the body and various health conditions, organizing the structure of life from organisms - organ systems - organs - tissues - cells and learning about what it means to be alive.
We have completed a green exit slip about the 3 videos & DVD's that we watched about stimulus & response, the scientific method, the systems of the human body and ANTIBIOTICS!
MR.C.GREEN assignment was given out in class on Thursday, Sept. 23rd. Students can download the rubric here if they have lost it. They may show in a variety of ways how they understand if something is alive by creating their own "organism" that is alive and demonstrate that they know what each of the letters in MR.C.GREEN stand for - because that's being alive!
Title Pages were assigned on Friday, Sept. 10th.
8-4 - your title pages are due on FRIDAY, September 17th (you will hand them in during one of our math classes that day). If you forget for some reason, you have to fill out a HOMEWORK COMPLETION AGREEMENT and give it to Ms. Smith.
